Your 3 Days Tsavo East & Salt Lick Safari from Mombasa begins with an early morning departure from your coastal hotel, heading to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest and oldest wildlife sanctuary.

Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting morning game drive through Tsavo East’s vast wilderness, where you may encounter the famous red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, impalas, and diverse birdlife.
Check in at Voi Safari Lodge or Manyatta Camp for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on another thrilling game drive to further explore Tsavo East’s spectacular biodiversity and scenic landscapes.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Salt Lick (Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary)

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit Tsavo East National Park and proceed to the beautiful Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Arrive in Salt Lick Sanctuary with game viewing opportunities en route, then continue to the lodge for check-in and lunch at the world-famous Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, uniquely built on stilts overlooking a busy waterhole that attracts wildlife throughout the day and night.
After lunch and leisure time, set out for an evening game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many resident wildlife species that thrive within this private sanctuary.

Day 3: Salt Lick – Mombasa / Diani

After breakfast, depart for a final morning game drive through the sanctuary as you check out, offering one last chance to enjoy the beauty of Taita Hills and spot wildlife.
Proceed to Voi Town for lunch before beginning your return journey to Mombasa, Diani, or your preferred coastal hotel, arriving in the evening.
