Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Samburu is one of Kenya’s most unique wildlife regions, famous for rare species known as the “Samburu Special Five.”

Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge / Samburu Serena Lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and Samburu’s rare wildlife.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring Samburu’s dramatic landscapes with extensive game drives.
Search for the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, and the graceful Gerenuk, species rarely found elsewhere in Kenya.
Samburu also offers sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and numerous bird species.

Optional visits to local Samburu villages provide insight into the region’s vibrant culture.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu via the scenic slopes of Mount Kenya and Thomson’s Falls, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the famous “Pink Lake,” known for its flamingos, pelicans, and extraordinary birdlife.
Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s top rhino sanctuaries, home to white rhinos, black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, leopards, buffaloes, and diverse wildlife.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
