Kenya Wilderness Safari Experience

Overview

Embark on a 14-day Kenyan safari through Samburu, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru, the Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park. Enjoy multiple game drives across Kenya’s iconic wildlife regions, visit the Reteti Elephant Orphanage and a Samburu cultural village, and see the Northern White Rhinos and chimpanzees at Ol Pejeta. The journey also includes a stop at Thomson’s Falls, lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant and sweeping views over the Great Rift Valley. In Amboseli, look out for large herds of elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro as a spectacular backdrop.

   Arrival in Kenya and evening game drive in Samburu

   Depart from Nairobi and enjoy lunch at Barney’s Restaurant at Nanyuki Airstrip. Proceed to Samburu National Reserve for check-in and an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

   Day 2

   Morning and evening game drives in Samburu

   Enjoy morning and evening game drives in Samburu National Reserve. Meals at the lodge or camp.

3. 3

   Day 3

   Reteti Elephant Orphanage and Samburu cultural village

   Visit the Reteti Elephant Orphanage and a Samburu cultural village. Lunch and dinner at the lodge or camp.

   Day 4

   Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and evening safari

   Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, check in and have lunch. Go on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

   Day 5

   Northern White Rhinos and the Chimpanzee Sanctuary

   Morning game drive, breakfast, and a visit to the Northern White Rhinos. Lunch is followed by an evening visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

   Day 6

   Thomson’s Falls and Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Lake Nakuru

   After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at Thomson’s Falls. Check in for lunch and enjoy an evening game drive along the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

   Day 7

   Journey to the Masai Mara

   • Masai Mara

   Travel to the Masai Mara. An early morning game drive is followed by lunch and an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

   Exploring the Masai Mara

   An early morning game drive in the Masai Mara is followed by lunch and an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

   Day 9

   Full-day safari in the Masai Mara

   Depart after breakfast for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara with picnic lunch boxes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

10. 10

    Day 10

    Great Rift Valley stop and return to Nairobi

    After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

    Arrival at Amboseli and evening game drive

    • Amboseli

    Depart for Amboseli National Park, check in for lunch, and go on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
