Day 1: Mombasa / Diani – Tsavo West National Park

Your 4 Days Tsavo West, Amboseli & Taita Hills Salt Lick Safari from Mombasa begins with an early morning departure from your coastal hotel via the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo West National Park.

Enter through Tsavo River Gate and begin your adventure with a scenic game drive along the palm-fringed Tsavo River, home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Tsavo West is famous for its volcanic landscapes, rolling hills, lava fields, and rich wildlife diversity.
Enjoy lunch at Ngulia Safari Lodge before heading out in the afternoon to visit the renowned Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where you may spot the rare and endangered black rhino.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park – Mzima Springs – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, visit the famous Mzima Springs, a crystal-clear oasis fed by underground streams from the Chyulu Hills lava flows. Here, you can observe hippos, crocodiles, fish, and birdlife in one of Kenya’s most scenic natural attractions.
Continue through the dramatic Shetani Lava Flows as you exit Tsavo West and proceed to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy thrilling game drives across Amboseli’s magnificent plains, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and abundant plains game.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Taita Hills (Salt Lick) Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive en route as you exit Amboseli and proceed to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Arrive for lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive through the sanctuary, famous for its lion prides, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, warthogs, and waterbucks.
